Time and material expenditures are set at an average value and may vary depending on the condition of the instrument. An additional working time of est. 1-2 hours is necessary for a satin-finish silver keywork and/or a satin-finish clarinet corpus
A 'general overhaul' includes following steps
Dismantling of the entire mechanism / further adjustment of the clamp axes / replacement of damaged screws / high-gloss polishing of the mechanism and the columns / ultrasound cleaning and impregnation of the mechanism with silver and/or satining of the mechanism / renewal of the clamp corks and felts / replacement of all flat and needle springs with subsequent anti-corrosion impregnation / multi-day oil bath and cleaning of the clarinet corpus / check and cleaning of the inner bore / cleaning and impregnating of all tone holes / check and/or repair of faulty tenon connections / renewal of all tenon corks / mounting of original GEROLD CLARINET pads / greasing of all axes with lubricating grease / new mounting of the mechanism and check of its sealing capacities / testing and final check of your GEROLD CLARINET
As part of a general overhaul the following upgrading works where they are needed to keep your GEROLD CLARINET up to date are provided free of charge
Mounting of set screws made of stainless steel / higher lead and new distance pivot for F and/or C sharp'' flap / B-C sharp & C-D sharp rolls made of high-quality glass fibre material / integration of Silent Stop felts
A 'new padding' includes following steps
Dismantling of the entire mechanism / replacement of all pads / exchange of all defective or missing corks and felts / replacement of faulty flat and needle springs with subsequent anti-corrosion impregnation / check and cleaning of the inner bore / cleaning and impregnating of all tone holes / check of tenon connections / greasing all axes with lubricating grease / new mounting of the mechanism and check of its sealing capacities / testing and final check of your GEROLD CLARINET
